The Lady Green variety is a standard Dianthus caryophyllus with a unique flower color, corresponding to color code 145D. One of the key characteristics of the plant is the complete absence of aroma, which distinguishes it from many traditional varieties of this species.

The plant is used primarily for decorative purposes to form bouquets and floral arrangements, including corsages and wreaths. The variety has also been the subject of scientific research within the framework of assessing the phenotypic resistance of carnations to Fusarium wilt.
