The variety Londonie, known under the trade name ELSY, belongs to the spray carnation type. Its flowers have a fully double shape, a solid red color, and moderately serrated petal edges.

The plant is intended for commercial cultivation for cut flowers. The variety gained prominence in breeding due to its high resistance to Fusarium wilt caused by the fungus Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. dianthi.
