The variety belongs to the spray carnation type and is known under the trade name TIP TOP. The flower is fully double; the coloration consists of a pale yellow background (code 19C) with stripes of bright orange-red color (code 43D).

The plant is used as an ornamental crop for cut flowers. The variety served as the parent material for a seedling (sport) that is classified as a Border variety, which differs in having a shorter height and smaller flowers.
