The variety is used in laboratory studies on the post-harvest shelf life of cut flowers, flavonoid composition, and in vitro micropropagation. The plant is sensitive to ethylene, which is a typical characteristic for this type of cut carnation.

Scientific publications have documented studies on the tissue resistance of the variety to the pathogen Fusarium oxysporum. In the course of laboratory micropropagation, the variety showed a low ability for root formation compared to other representatives of the species.
