The Moresco variety is used in floriculture. Scientific studies involving this variety are aimed at investigating methods of forced bud opening using sucrose solutions and evaluating the vase life of cut flowers.

The flower size of this variety remains stable during the winter and summer periods. However, the vase life of the flower decreases in the summer, while the use of sucrose promotes improved bud opening and an increase in flower diameter.
