The "Stanti" variety belongs to the species Dianthus caryophyllus. In botanical references and breeding lists, it is recorded primarily as an initial parental variety.

In 1984, a sport was obtained based on the "Stanti" variety, registered under the name "Drago" (trade name "Tornado"). Detailed morphological characteristics of the plant are absent in available sources.
