The variety belongs to the commercial Sun Chimes series and is also known under the trade name Sun Chimes Rose. The plant is a deciduous perennial with green leaves, reaching a height of 30–45 cm and a width of 23–30 cm.

The flowers are red, the flowering period occurs in summer and autumn. The plant prefers sunny areas, well-drained soils, and regular watering. Recommended for cultivation in containers, hanging baskets, and as a border plant, belongs to USDA hardiness zones 9a–10b.
