The Victoria variety belongs to plants that do not produce flowering shoots in the first year of vegetation. The main purpose of the crop is its use as medicinal raw material for the production of cardiac glycosides.
The plant's leaves contain 0.25% lanatoside C. The yield of fresh leaves is about 160 c/ha, dry leaves — about 40 c/ha, and seeds — about 500 kg/ha.
