The plant is of medium size. A distinctive feature of the flowers is the contrasting coloration of the petals: the inner side is white, while the outer side has a creamy-yellow hue.

The variety is used exclusively for ornamental purposes. In climatic zones with a warm climate (zone 8 and higher), it is grown as a perennial crop; in colder regions, it is used as a seasonal plant.
