The plant is a herbaceous epiphyte with trailing or hanging shoots. The thick, fleshy, and glossy leaves are rounded in shape and light to medium green in color. Due to the opposite arrangement, the leaves overlap tightly, concealing the stems and creating the effect of a scaly garland.
The variety is characterized as slow-growing. Under cultivation, mature specimens can reach 0.3 m in height and up to 0.6 m in width. Flowering is observed extremely rarely when grown indoors. The plant is sensitive to waterlogging, which can lead to root system decay.
