The variety TSAECH1709, known under the trade name Echeveria ‘Amado’, is a hybrid of Echeveria lilacina and Echeveria pulidonis. The plant is intended for use as an ornamental potted or interior crop.
The plant forms a compact basal rosette. The succulent leaves have a glaucous, light-gray-green shade with a pink border on the tips and edges. The variety is distinguished by the stability and uniformity of its morphological traits during asexual reproduction.
