The variety was created based on the somaclonal variant SE7 through in vitro cultivation. The line is characterized by a reduced expression level of cytokinin oxidase/dehydrogenase enzymes, which contributes to intensive biomass accumulation. Compared to the predecessor variety «Тропиканка», it demonstrates higher yield due to an increase in the number of inflorescences and seeds.
The plant possesses high drought tolerance, low soil requirements, and resistance to a number of phytopathogens. The stem has a rounded shape at the base. The variety is used as a source of raw material for the production of bioethanol, forage, and fertilizers, and also serves as a model object for genetic research.
