Variety description
10 August 2026
The cultivar is a hybrid resulting from the open pollination of an Epimedium pinnatum subsp. colchicum seedling and represents a combination of traits from Asian and European Epimedium species. The height of the plant's flower stalks reaches 40 cm.
Flowering occurs in the spring, in April–May. Large flowers are positioned above the foliage. The regrowing semi-evergreen foliage has a purple hue in the spring.
The cultivar is characterized as hardy and drought-tolerant, capable of growing in "dry shade" conditions. It is used in landscape design as a groundcover for planting in borders, under tree canopies, and in woodland areas.
