The plant is a perennial herbaceous vine, distinguished from the classic golden pothos by stiffer stems and green, slightly wavy leaves with dark veins and light marble-like speckles. In indoor conditions, it is capable of reaching significant heights when provided with support.

The variety is used as an ornamental interior plant. Young specimens are used in an ampelous form in hanging baskets, while mature ones are used on vertical trellises. The crop is thermophilic, prefers bright locations without direct sunlight, and requires high air humidity.
