Variety description

The plant is an upright, dense and wide shrub. The leaves are needle-like, with a grey-green shade. The flowers are gathered in inflorescences, their color varies from purple-violet and magenta to deep pink and red-lilac.

Flowering lasts from the beginning of July to mid-October; with timely pruning, a second flush is possible. The variety prefers sunny or semi-shaded locations with acidic, humus-rich and sandy soils. The plant is sensitive to strong winds and excess moisture, and requires winter protection in severe climatic conditions.
