Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant is an upright shrub 0.9–1.5 m tall and 0.6–1.0 m wide. The foliage is small, needle-like, bright green, and acquires a golden-yellow hue on young shoots in the spring.

Flowering occurs in the winter and early spring periods. The flowers are tubular, bright orange-red, and gathered in inflorescences. The variety is thermophilic, requires sunny locations and well-drained acidic soils, and needs protection from severe frosts.

The plant is used in landscape design for creating borders, group plantings, as a specimen plant, and also as cut material. It attracts birds and pollinating insects.
