The showy shrub reaches a height of 61–75 cm and a width of 31–45 cm. The plant's foliage has a dark green hue.
The tubular flowers, approximately 9 mm in length, are colored a deep purple-crimson at the base, transitioning into white lobes. Flowering is abundant and continues from August to January, with the flowers retaining their color until the end of the year.
