The Cabanzón 281 clone was bred during selection work to create uniform forest plantations. The primary purpose of the material is to ensure stable growth and high-quality wood yield for industrial forestry purposes.

The main agronomic characteristic of the variety is pronounced resistance to Mycosphaerella Leaf Disease. The use of this clone ensures higher plant survival rates compared to material susceptible to the specified fungal disease.
