Variety description

The plant is an evergreen perennial subshrub with a compact, upright, and well-branched habit. The leaves are narrow, of a grey-blue-green shade with a distinct creamy-white margin along the edge. The plant height varies from 30 to 60 cm.
During the spring period, it forms large cone-shaped inflorescences with cream bracts and a green center. The plant possesses high drought tolerance, prefers well-drained soils, and is sensitive to winter waterlogging. Frost resistance corresponds to USDA zone 7.
All parts of the plant contain milky sap, which is an irritant to skin and eyes. To maintain shape, it is recommended to prune spent shoots to ground level in late summer or autumn.
