Variety description
10 August 2026
Perennial climbing vine, reaching a height of 5–8 meters with an annual growth of 2–3 meters. The main distinctive feature of the variety is the golden-yellow color of the leaves and the reddish hue of the young shoots. The variety is less vigorous in growth than the species form and is more demanding regarding growing conditions, in particular protection from strong winds and direct sunlight, which can cause burns.
Flowering occurs from late summer to October; the plant forms wide drooping panicles of small white flowers, which may acquire a greenish or pinkish tint. The variety is intended for use in landscape design to create color accents when decorating supports and pergolas, while requiring regular monitoring and pruning due to intensive spreading.
