The variety is a selection derived from wild seedlings, classified as a Fargesia murielae x Fargesia nitida hybrid. The plant is characterized by vigorous, healthy growth and a non-invasive root system that forms dense clumps.
A growth feature is the natural shedding of shoot tips upon reaching a certain height, which contributes to foliage density and bush compaction. Leaves are dark green in color. The variety possesses high winter hardiness and recovers well after pruning.
