Variety description

The Lipusta variety was removed from the variety register at the end of 2007. Seeds of this variety were used to a limited extent in sowings for establishing vegetation cover on particularly arid sites, known as pioneer habitats. In these areas, plants developed to the flowering and seed maturation stage without regular mowing.
Detailed agronomic and morphological characteristics of the variety, such as maturity group, height, or disease resistance indicators, are absent from public publications. In official documents, the name Lipusta could also refer to other grass species, including Agrostis, which requires verification of the source context.
