Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant is low-growing, reaching 15–20 cm in height. Leaves are narrow, flat, slightly curved, with blunt cut tips and a distinct membranous white margin along the edges. In late spring or summer, inconspicuous brown spikelet inflorescences form on peduncles located above the foliage level.

The species is thermophilic, belongs to USDA hardiness zones 8–10, and requires good drainage, as it does not tolerate wet, cold winters well. The plant is characterized by resistance to Verticillium wilt and low maintenance requirements. It is used for decorative purposes in containers, borders, and rock gardens.
