In indoor conditions, the plant reaches a height of 1.5–3 meters. The leaves are large, oval-shaped, leathery, and deep green in color with noticeable light green or whitish veins. The leaf surface often has a velvety texture.

The plant is valued for its relative ease of care, although it is sensitive to irregular watering, drafts, and insufficient lighting. Ficus benghalensis Audrey is toxic if ingested, and its milky sap can cause skin irritation.
