The plant is characterized by an upright, compact habit and forms a lush crown. The leaves are oval or round in shape, dense, leathery, emerald-green in color, and glossy. The trunk has grey, weakly textured bark. In indoor conditions, the height of the plant usually reaches 1.5–3 meters.
The variety has a moderately fast growth rate and is considered relatively undemanding in care. The plant is resistant to short-term droughts but sensitive to drafts and sudden changes in maintenance conditions. Ficus sap is toxic and can cause skin irritation upon contact.
