The variety was bred in South Korea with the participation of Damyang County as an improved alternative to existing varieties to increase sweetness and fruit firmness indicators. Genetically, the variety is related to the use of the parent form Guardsman.
The variety is adapted for industrial cultivation in greenhouse conditions and forcing methods. It is positioned as a national variety possessing export potential and good keeping quality of produce.
