The variety is the result of breeding work crossing lines 137A84 × Chandler. The plants belong to the late maturity group. The berries are characterized by their large size and bright red skin, which also has a soft texture.
The variety shows moderate resistance to powdery mildew and leaf spot, but demonstrates susceptibility to fruit anthracnose. A feature of the plant is its tolerance to the herbicide terbacil.
