The variety is characterized by a late maturity group. The bush is compact, growing up to 25 cm in height. The berries have a conical shape, are distinguished by a large size of up to 35 g, and have a bright red color.

The flavor qualities of the berries are described as sweet and sour with the aroma of wild strawberries. The plant is claimed to be self-fertile and to possess high yield.

The lack of official registration leads to confusion, due to which different varieties or imported hybrids may be hidden under the same name. Historical sources from the late 19th century mentioned a different variety with the same name, which is unrelated to modern commercial offerings.
