The tree reaches a height of 15–20 meters, in some cases up to 25 meters. The crown is dense, compact, with a shape ranging from narrow-pyramidal to broad-oval, with branches directed predominantly upward at acute angles.

The leaves are dark green, odd-pinnate, and turn yellow in autumn. The variety is male and does not produce fruit; flowering occurs in April.

The plant is wind-resistant and tolerates salt spray and urban air pollution. Due to late budding, it has high resistance to late spring frosts. It prefers nutrient-rich, moist, well-aerated soils.
