Variety description

The plant is an evergreen ornamental shrub reaching a height of 90 to 180 cm. The variety forms upright racemose inflorescences of small lavender-pink flowers, followed by the ripening of dark purple berries.
The variety has a long flowering period, with fruits ripening in the fall. The plant is hardy in zones 9–11; in cold climates, indoor cultivation is recommended. The fruits are suitable for consumption, including use in salads and for making jams.
