Variety description

The variety is a subshrub with a trailing growth habit. At maturity, the plant reaches about 75 cm in height and up to 90 cm in width, forming a dense, arching bush. The flowers are solitary, consisting of bright crimson sepals and rolled dark purple petals. The flowering period lasts from late spring to autumn.

The plant is classified as half-hardy. In regions with a temperate climate (USDA zone 7), winter protection is required; in colder conditions, the variety is grown as an annual or a container plant brought indoors. Due to its highly branched structure, the variety maintains its shape well, making it suitable for use in hanging baskets and containers.
