The plant reaches a height of about 10 cm. Flowering occurs in the period from March to May. The crop is undemanding, requiring well-drained, humus-rich and moderately moist soil.
The variety is used in ornamental gardening for landscaping rock gardens, flower beds, and growing in containers. Plants can be susceptible to damage by slugs and snails.
