The variety «Thunder Cloud» is a hybrid of the genus Geranium. The plant has a compact bush form, which makes it suitable for ornamental landscaping.

The upper side of the palmately-divided leaves is grayish-purple in color, while the underside remains green. The variety was identified as a result of breeding trials that confirmed its stability and morphological differences from other geranium varieties.
