The Fresultane variety is used primarily in scientific works dedicated to tissue culture and genetic plant improvement. During the micropropagation process, this variety demonstrates a moderate capacity for shoot induction, forming 6–7 shoots per explant over a four-week cycle.
In genetic studies, the variety was used to refine methods for obtaining haploid gerbera plants through unpollinated ovule culture. It was noted that Fresultane possesses a high capacity for forming haploid callus, which is distinguished by good morphogenetic potential.
The variety underwent production trials to evaluate adaptation, however, detailed morphological characteristics of the plant and a description of the market qualities of the products are absent in available publications.
