The Moana variety is an object of breeding work and is used in DUS test protocols as a reference specimen when evaluating the position of the distal part of the bracts in relation to the outer ray florets.
In agronomic research, the variety was studied in the context of the influence of sucrose on the vase life of cut flowers. The variety is intended for professional commercial cut flower production.
