In commercial floriculture, the name Scarlet is most often encountered as part of the designation of hybrid series. For example, the Mega Revolution F1 series includes a variety with scarlet flowers 10–13 cm in diameter and a light center, intended for container gardening and patios with a plant height of 15–25 cm. The Jaguar series is represented by compact plants 20–25 cm in height, which can have semi-double flowers of a scarlet shade and be grown both in pots and in open field.
Morphological characteristics of the plants depend on the specific variety series. Professional hybrids are characterized by uniformity in height and flowering time, usually taking from 9 to 13 weeks. The peduncles of such pot forms are strong and erect. Plants require control of soil moisture, as they are sensitive to fungal diseases under waterlogging.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
