The variety is used in agronomic research focused on plant protection against viral infections. In particular, it is characterized as susceptible to certain strains of Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV) capable of overcoming natural resistance.

When infected with the virus, necrotic symptoms appear on the plant's leaves. Other morphological traits, yield indicators, data on flowering, or agrotechnical characteristics of the variety are absent in open publications.
