The Tersnow variety serves as a reference specimen for the morphological characterization of Gerbera when describing the traits of other varieties. The outer ray florets of this variety have a very short length, narrow width, and a pointed petal apex shape.

The position of the tip of the pappus in this variety is above the level of the closed disc of the inflorescence. The color of the tip of the anthers is the same as the color of the other parts of the plant's anthers.
