The variety «Terthermo» is officially recognized as a reference specimen in UPOV guidelines for describing morphological characteristics during Gerbera variety trials.

In the official documentation for this variety, a strong intensity of anthocyanin coloration on the distal part of the inner involucral bracts of the flower head is recorded, corresponding to a value of 7.
