Gerbera variety «Vino» is used in protected cultivation as a cut flower crop. The main recorded characteristic of the variety is long vase life, which allows the flowers to remain fresh for a long time after cutting.

In scientific publications dedicated to agronomic evaluation, the variety is mentioned as promising, however, detailed morphological parameters, such as exact plant height or disease resistance, are not described in open sources.
