Variety description
10 August 2026
Ginpent is a perennial herbaceous vine of the Cucurbitaceae family, the shoots of which reach a length of 2–3 meters. The variety has been adapted for cultivation in the Po Valley in Italy, which distinguishes it from the wild forms common in Asian countries.
The plant possesses high productivity under appropriate cultivation conditions, allowing for harvest up to 4–5 times per year. The main economic feature of the variety is its optimized chemical composition with a higher concentration of biologically active substances used in the pharmaceutical industry for creating supplements and adaptogenic preparations.
