Variety description

The plant forms an upright, dense bush 40 to 70 cm tall with stiff, winged stems and dark green lanceolate foliage. The capitulum inflorescences, 3–5 cm in diameter, have pleated petals of a deep dark-red hue with a brownish tint.

The variety blooms in the late summer and autumn periods, starting in August. The plant has high resistance to powdery mildew and lodging. The variety is adapted to USDA hardiness zones 3–9 and is suitable for growing in borders, flower beds, and containers.
