Variety description
10 August 2026
The plant is an evergreen low-growing shrub or groundcover perennial with a height of 15 to 45 cm. The foliage is narrow, lanceolate, of a dark gray-green or blue-green shade with a glossy finish. The cup-shaped flowers have a ruby-red color with a yellow center and resemble a poppy in shape.
The variety blooms from late spring to mid-summer. The plant is drought-tolerant, withstands heat well, and possesses resistance to Verticillium wilt. The variety requires good drainage, as it is sensitive to moisture stagnation during the winter period. It is used in rockeries, rock gardens, and mixed borders.
