The SIGCO 4A line was developed by SIGCO Research as one of the parental components for sunflower hybrid breeding, specifically in combination with the pollinator line SIGCO 853R.
Plants of this line are characterized by a height in the range of 150–200 cm, medium-yellow flower color, and the formation of a single head. The period to flowering is approximately 70 days.
