The hybrid was created at the Dobrudzha Agricultural Institute using fertility restorer lines obtained, among other methods, via doubled haploids.
In scientific literature, the hybrid is mentioned as an object of breeding programs aimed at increasing productivity and phytopathological trials for resistance to Orobanche and downy mildew.
