The plant is of medium height, non-branching, with medium-sized green leaves. The head is semi-pendent, medium to large in size, with a strongly convex seed side. Ray florets are yellow, disc florets are orange. Seeds are narrowly ovate, black in color, the thousand kernel weight is about 59 grams.
The hybrid is resistant to imidazolinones, lodging, and shattering. It possesses high resistance to white rot, and is tolerant to Phomopsis, grey mold, and rust races A-G. The average yield is 22.6–27.4 c/ha with a maximum value of 34.8 c/ha.
The optimal sowing density is 50–55 thousand plants per hectare. The average oil yield reaches 14 c/ha.
