The hybrid is a simple interline hybrid obtained by the method of controlled crossing according to the scheme (HP3009IA * HP212I) x HP455R. The plant possesses resistance to diseases and good adaptability to the environment.
A number of publications indicate the tolerance of this hybrid to imidazolinone herbicides, corresponding to the Clearfield technology; however, the presence of this trait depends on the specification of a specific seed lot.
