The B0529LG line was developed by Pioneer Hi-Bred International as a donor of the trait for resistance to tribenuron-methyl group herbicides. It is used exclusively as intermediate breeding material for the creation of new hybrid sunflower forms.
Public agronomic and morphological descriptions characteristic of commercial hybrids are not available for this line. During its breeding process, selection was conducted for traits such as herbicide resistance, early flowering, plant height indicators, oil content, and yield in hybrid combinations.
