ActiveHelianthus annuus L. · Sunflower
Soper, John
10 August 2026
The hybrid is mid-maturing, with a growing season of 106–120 days. Plant height varies from 150 to 180 cm. In the initial stages of development, the hybrid shows slow growth rates, which contributes to the formation of a powerful root system.
Plants possess high tolerance to Phomopsis, Phoma, Sclerotinia and grey mold, as well as genetic resistance to broomrape races A–E. The crop is characterized by resistance to lodging and medium to high drought tolerance.
The hybrid belongs to the linoleic type, with an oil content in seeds of 48–52%. It is intended for cultivation using conventional technology in zones with sufficient and moderate moisture, and is responsive to a high level of agrotechnology.
