The Camaro II hybrid belongs to the NuSun mid-oleic type and can be used for both oil production and the birdseed market. The plant reaches a height of 170–180 cm and forms a nodding head, which helps to reduce crop losses from birds.
The variety is resistant to imidazolinone herbicides, has high resistance to downy mildew, and tolerance to head rot (Sclerotinia). Due to its strong stalk and well-developed root system, the hybrid is characterized by high resistance to lodging.
Yield potential reaches 5.0 t/ha. The hybrid demonstrates yield stability in various cultivation conditions and possesses a high degree of tolerance to drought conditions.
